prompt magazine – #11

I had the honor of being feautured in the 11th issue by „PROMPT Magazine“ and also on the METAXIS Festival in the Lumiere Hall in Budapest. My experiments on using AI in letter creation brought me to the concept of adapting the workflow on other visuals. My conceptual series for PROMPT Magazine envisions fantasy creatures as symbols of future biodiversity, infuenced by Donna J. Haraway’s Chthulucene concept.

Bausch thrives on abstract, process-oriented, and experimental work. His practice
pushes the boundaries of typographic design, consistently exploring new directions and
ideas. He embraces the creative freedom that comes with experimentation, constantly
seeking to redefne traditional forms and push his ideas further. His fascination with
intricate details and organic structures has led him to experiment with artifcial
intelligence, merging cellular and anatomical forms with sculptural elements. Through his
distinctive style, he draws inspiration from electron microscopy, X-ray photography, and
multiple exposures, combining these techniques to craft visual narratives that blur the line
between science and art.

For Bausch, everything visible emerges from nothingness—light illuminates darkness,
making the unseen visible. His creative process often starts in the depths of darkness, as
he fnds it more intuitive and evocative to reveal hidden aspects, rather than placing them
directly in the light.

In his conceptual series „Shapeshift,“ in which he imagines fantasy creatures as symbols
of a future biodiversity, inspired by Donna J. Haraway’s work „Staying with the Trouble:
Making Kin in the Chthulucene.“ Haraway’s concept of the Chthulucene emphasizes the
interconnectedness of all life on Earth, focusing on the diversity of non-human actors
while challenging the anthropocentric worldview.
